A recipe for WOK-cooked burgers
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

Instructions:
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a WOK over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until browned. Remove the beef from the WOK and set aside.
  3. Add the broccoli, bell peppers, and onion to the WOK. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  4. Add the garlic to the WOK and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
  5. Return the beef to the WOK and pour the sauce over everything. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and everything is evenly coated.
  6. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
